Within the US, typical time between order placed and order received is one week. This varies for orders with custom length leashes or custom logo leashes. If you need your custom items quickly, please contact us. Delivery of orders outside the US can vary, but we will do what we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. If you have not received your order within 10 days, please let us know.
Transitional leashes can be purchased: online; at our training facility in Draper, Utah; and at some Scheel's locations.
The standard leashes are ⅜” thick and are appropriate for most dogs over ten pounds.
The little (LTL) leashes are ¼” thick and are for dogs under twenty pounds, or dogs with short snouts.
Your dog’s response to the transitional leash is largely dependent upon your commitment and consistency. The more consistent you are with the leash, the more likely it is that your dog will understand and respond to the leash pressure. So don’t give up!
This is a phase you and your dog can work through together. Continue to apply gentle upwards leash pressure until the fighting stops and your dog sits down. Repeating this every time they fight will help them to learn that sitting down removes the pressure. If your dog can’t seem to get it, reach out to us and let us try to help you through it.
